Building homes, Building futures
Habitat for Humanity homes here in Sarasota are built almost entirely by volunteers, both skilled and unskilled. Beyond job site construction, our generous volunteer teams also provide refreshments for workers, staff our ReStores, assist in our offices and lend their unique passion and skills to our board
and committees.
We need volunteers to help us in a variety of ways to help keep homes affordable. It is our goal to help you find the volunteer assignment that best suits your skills, interests, and schedule. Keep in mind that we’re flexible. One can volunteer on a regular basis, for a one-time project, or drop in as you’re available.

1. Click on the VolunteerUP button to register as a volunteer. You will be redirected to the calendar screen.
2. Click on the Log In tab at the top left of the calendar screen to create a username and password.
3. Print and fill out a Volunteer Waiver and bring it to the site with you. Volunteers must be 16 years old or older to work at the construction site. Anyone ages 16-18 MUST have a parent or guardian's signature on the waiver.
